JSON Path Extract

Got a huge API response and only want one nested field? Write a path — no more pasting JSON into an editor and scrolling.

Notes

Four forms are supported: a.b.c for keys, a[0] for indexes (negative counts from the end), a[*] for wildcards, $..id for recursive lookup.
Filters and script expressions (the rest of full JSONPath) are not supported and fail with an explicit error rather than guessing.
Large integers are parsed as json.Number and keep full precision.
